WHAT TYPES OF INSURANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?

CAN I BUY MY INSURANCE OVER THE PHONE OR DO I HAVE TO COME IN TO YOUR OFFICE?

The easiest thing to do is call us - we have the ability to do your entire transaction over the phone and online, so you don't ever have to leave your home or office.

I HAVE HAD A CLAIM. WILL I BE ABLE TO GET INSURANCE?

We should still be able to provide a quote, however, previous claims may impact the cost of your coverage.

I HAVE A HOME BASED BUSINESS. CAN I INSURE THIS?

In many cases we can insure home based businesses, however there are rules and criteria that must be considered. Each case is unique so it's important to speak to an iQ Account Manager before purchasing any home insurance product to ensure you're properly covered.

DO I NEED EARTHQUAKE INSURANCE?

It depends. While some areas are more prone to damage caused by earthquakes, they still can happen anywhere. The price you'll pay for this coverage relates directly to the likelihood of an earthquake occuring in your area. Ultimately it's up to you, but we can help you come to a decision as to whether or not to add this option to your policy.

I'M NOT SURE ABOUT ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES. ARE THEY ALLOWED?

The simple answer is yes they are. You are legally allowed to sign insurance applications and supporting documents with an electronic signature (except cancellations). At iQ, we have made it easy to use an electronic signature and will advise and help you every step of the way. We will send you an email from a secure site with clear instructions on what to do and all you have to do is click and you're done. We are changing the way customers purchase insurance.

WILL MY RATES AUTOMATICALLY INCREASE EVERY YEAR?

Insurance companies usually adjust the amount of coverage they provide in order to keep up with yearly inflation. This sometimes results in an increase in the cost of your insurance, even if you haven't made any claims.

To minimize the impact on you, iQ does a comprehensive review at renewal time and re-quotes with our available insurance companies to ensure you are getting the best coverage at a fair premium. So don’t worry, we will never let you pay more than what is necessary to insure your home.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE A CLAIM?

First of all, don't panic! From the time you call us with the initial notice of your claim until your claim is closed, we'll be there to help. We will work on your behalf with the insurance provider and claims professionals to get you back to where you were before the loss occurred.

I WANT HELP FIGURING OUT MY INSURANCE BUT I DON'T WANT TO PAY MORE FOR AN ADVISOR. HOW MUCH EXTRA DO I HAVE TO PAY TO USE IQ AS MY INSURANCE BROKER?

Not a thing. The cost of our services is already factored into the premium charged by the insurance companies. We simply help you gather the information that’s necessary to get insurance, answer any questions that you have along the way and provide our recommendations, and then submit the required documents on your behalf. There are no additional fees for this service.
